Edit Picons

How to edit picons through the built-in picons editor.

First you could read Quick Start page of online help for a quick introduction, with basic notions: context menu, Drag and Drop, multiple selection.

Note: the software does not currently upload / download picon images, they should be uploaded manually to the STB.

Picons

Picons edit is managed on a separate tab from the main view.

From main menu, click on menu Editor > Picons editor

Picons editor tab is always shown in the tab switcher.

Browse picons

To browse picons pick a folder with picons from your local folders.

Click on "Browse…" field button, at tab bottom "Folder", select the directory to browse.

Picon images will be showns in the tab.

Change picon

Select the picon image to change, open the context menu and click on "Change picon".

In File dialog, select the image that will replace the selected picon.

Selected picon image will be replaced with the new image.

Picons can be changed also with Drag and Drop, by drag image on File manager and dropping to the picon on the tab.

Edit picon

Select the picon image to edit, open the context menu and click on "Open picon" or "Reveal on File manager".

By clicking on "Open picon" the selected picon image will be opened in the default image editor.

By clicking on "Reveal on File manager" the selected picon image will be shown in the default File manager.

Note: Reveal on File manager availability depends on the channel distribution of the software release.

Batch command

Batch command can be used to add the batch power to picons editor, executing your own batch scripts.

"External batch command" should be enabled and properly configured from Settings.

To execute the configured batch command, select the picons, open the context menu and click on "Execute batch command".

Batch command will be executed, the batch progress will be displayed in the status bar.

Note: External batch command availability on sandboxed context, depends on your sandbox permissions configuration.

Note: External batch command available since software version 1.9
