Website and browser storage

The Website uses the storage available on the User's browser to store the color preference (light and dark color variants) and to operate within the Translations app. The Translations app allows users who reach it at this address: https://e2sateditor.com/translate/, to provide more accurate translations for the Software. In detail, this Website uses the WebStorage API functionality provided by the browser, the translation data is temporarily stored on the User's device in order to be modified and subsequently sent.

This temporary data is automatically deleted when the User's browser is closed.

This data is NOT traceable and is NOT used to track anything.

Third Parties involved in the Software

The Software uses third-party, free software and/or open-source libraries.

"Qt" toolkit for the gui and "libcurl" library for the connectivity (FTP, telnet, Webif).

There are no known uses of User data by these libraries.

Due to global nature of the Internet, is not possible to specify an absolute law on privacy for this Website and the Software. The hosting used for this Website is based in Italy, the data center is located in Italy. For this Website, please refer to prominent Privacy Law in Italy, known as GDPR, and any existing agreements between countries and Italy for Privacy.

This Website and the Software are distributed, maintained and given free of charge by an individual person, coinciding with the Data Controller, according to the terms described in the software licenses used, and the common sense. Data Processing is limited to the username data, optionally provided by the User using the Translations app, on this Website at this address: https://e2sateditor.com/translate/. The username (acronym or real name) provided by the User when submitting the translation, for attribution of contribution, may be corrected and removed. The User may send a simple request via e-mail to the Data Controller to ask its correction or removal. If this data is not provided, the User do not need to do anything.
